The first thing you need to know is what is
your truck rated/capable of towing. The quickest way to find this out is looking at the
"Cargo Carrying Capacity" sticker on the driver's side door frame. The CCC will include all of your gear, passengers, hitch with WD setup and the tongue weight of the trailer. These add up quickly and can easily overload tow vehicles. Not just your Toyota but on all setups. This marketing gets many people into trouble. Can your truck haul it? Probably. Can it do it legally? Probably not. The most important aspect of this for me is, if I had an accident and lawyers got involved, would I be risking my families financial well-being?
