I installed a weatherproof box next to the battery with a cut off switch. I replaced the 2 fuse holders that use to hang off the battery with 2 Bussman circuit breakers installed inside the box.. After each trip I flip the switch to off. During winter storage I remove the battery and keep it on a battery tender.

Would you mind posting more pics of your setup, especially inside the box? Thanks!

I'll see if I have any pictures of the inside. Don't remember if I took any and this was done about 2 years ago after purchasing our new camper. Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions at matt@ces4less.com. Just put batt switch as the subject so I know its not junk mail.

ID:	93338 to take some photos of the inside of the switch/circuit breaker box I made. The 2 circuit breakers feed the 2 lines that go into trailer. The fused line is for the tongue jack. The switch turns power off to everything.

I open the battery cover and disconnect the positive lead. And that's that.
