My aluminium sided TT did not come with a front rock guard. (My old Coachmen had a diamond plate chrome guard with I was very happy with.)

I've talked to a local body shop that repairs my company's vehicle after they have been in an accident. The shop also repairs RV's, TTs, etc. He was saying that he could paint the front of the TT to match the brown stripes on the side of the TT. He further said that it was like a spray on bed liner and would be very strong.

My question is: Is this a good idea to protect the front of the TT? If it isn't, what whould be a better thing to do. I expect to be on some gravel roads and do not want the front of the TT to become battered.

THANKS!

I suspect any paint type product will allow rock dings to show. After all, aluminum sheet is still the only thing stopping the rocks. Any reputable trailer supply shop can get aluminum diamond plate to install on your trailer.
