Same water alarm saved my bacon at 2AM once when I must have dropped the O-ring out of the filter when installing it. Held water while it was warm outside, but when the temp dropped at night water was shooting out of the threads.

Priceless!! BTW I don't sleep with water pressure in the system at all. We always depresurize it before going to bed and switch on if we need it for the bathroom or use the jug to fill after flushing.

Jug? In the shower? Or get an alarm. It costs next to nothing for added peace of mind.

I don't understand. What has my belief got to do with the identity of the Creator who was looking out for you?

I knew responding to that other question was going to be a mistake.

But anyway, TM, could you please give me some info on the alarm you're using, make, model, where to buy one or two????

Thanks a bunch

I found them here based on zooming in on his picture -

https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Wa-0...=1&*entries*=0

Similar to my First Alerts - kind of cool because you can detach the sensor and install it in a tight area, but have the rest of the unit accessible to get to the battery.

No problem. Got them from Ebay.
Just search for "water leak sensors"
Take a look at the pic in this thread and you will see the similarity. They work good. Out of 8 that I bought for home and RV I found 6 work 100%. No biggie they are so cheap. I always over order a little to make sure I have spare.

The other two give of false battery low beeps every now and then.

Yes, totally. Very convenient for tight spaces. I just hooked them up with Industrial Strength velcro for easy detaching and so they won't go flying everywhere when we travel.
