My only complaint is: I wish ours had come with a ladder. I just bought a universal ladder and was thinking of installing it myself. Anybody else out there try this and have any suggestions or tips?
Lou, we have a factory installed ladder on our Minnie. Best option. These photos show where the ladder is mounted in case you install it yourself. I would think yours would mount it in the same place as ours is mounted.

Congratulation on your new 2106DS. It's a good rig and you'll enjoy it a lot.

SurferDude,
We have a 2014 Sunnybrook Harmony 21FBS that we bought new; After I saw the 2014 Minnies which had the ladder option, I asked the dealer if they could add a ladder, and she said no, the factory said there was no reinforcing for the ladder. I bought a Telesteps collapsable ladder from CW and its great. Stores under the bed out of sight. SurferLou, you are the first one on this board that I've seen with a pre-Winnebago Sunnybrook! I think they are a cut above the Minnies that followed. Enjoy yours!
Bill

Quick question- supposedly this 2106DS has enclosed and heated tanks. Is there a power switch for the tanks?

Padre, Usually means 'enclosed' by the underbelly liner, and 'heated' by one of the furnace ducts being directed into the underbelly space. Not a direct contact heat pad.

That is my understanding. No heating elements dedicated to the tanks. Just warm air from the furnace.

Has anyone considered installing a rheostat (dimmer) in the awning LED strip? Phenomenal illumination, but there are times we just don't want it set on stun.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
That's funny. Unfortunately, I don't know of a solution and I don't know if the LEDs are dimable... not all are.

I've found that the white LEDs under the awning tend to attract a lot of small flying bugs at night. We usually just leave ours off. I just set up a small propane lantern on the other side of the campsite. It gives us plenty of light and all the bugs are attracted over there, away from us.

EMS HW30C. Progressive industries surge protector. I installed one in my last RV, but things were more and installation videos were readily available. Has anyone installed one on a 2106DS/FB and taken photos/video? I did see something earlier in this thread, bit not a specific instructible.

Interestingly enough, there is an open fuse location in the panel for tank heating pads.
