I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Love that blue!

I've been thinking for a while that we should all organize some sort of get-together. Maybe by region. Would be fun to all pull into McKinney with 10+ Minnies.
Spend a couple days comparing rigs and sharing stories.

Mine is white, but haven't seen any post or "on the road" 2455 owners. We live in Newnan(home of Chatt. Bend SP) but have not trailer camped Allatoona. Raised in Cartersville and spent many years on the lake, but since the move here West Point was easier. We will be trying Red Top soon. No boat.

Thank you! The blue does spark attention at the campgrounds. A get-together at McKinney would be fun. We would need to organize it several months out since McKinney stays full most weekends. We are usually at McKinney at least once a month. I recall seeing red Minnie there last summer before we purchased ours. It could have been you.

No longer Winnebago trailer dealer in Phoenix

Just found out the local Dealer here in the Phoenix area LaMesa RV has stopped selling Winnebago travel trailers, still handles the motor homes.Affinity RV in Prescott Valley AZ is now the nearest Dealer to Phoenix. LeMesa still does service of course. Bought mine there last year , good to deal with.

Anvil,
We like Red top a lot, but the site reservations are non-specific, so you need to be there during the week or early on a Friday if you want a decent spot. The Minnie fit on most of the 20ft backins. Any spots near the yurt are good.

Hi all, after two years of fun and enjoyment with our Minnie, I have listed our 2201ds in the classifieds of this forum. We've decided to try another trailer which does not have the entertainment center at the foot of the bed. I can touch both my head and feet while laying in bed and it was not what I wanted to "endure" anymore. I'm 6-1 for anyone who's wondering. I did want to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the wonderful comments and helpful tips from all of you. Safe travels. Mike

Mike, sure hate to see you go but things change. We were over at McClain's RV in Ft. Worth Saturday looking since we are seriously considering a larger RV. Same dealer we bought our Minnie from. We happened to see a Grand Design 2600RB and were very impressed. It is 30' long and has a full size Queen bed. Take a look at this link.

Thanks Ken, That is a nice looking rig. One of our original criteria was that the camper had to fit under the ten foot door of my pole building and it needed to have an outdoor kitchen. We had found virtually the exact camper as the 2201ds in 2014, made by Trail-lite. We walked away from that purchase because of the bed, which loses 6 inches of headspace with the aerodynamic curve on the front of the unit. Trail-Lite then went out of business. After searching for a year, we discovered the 2201ds and swapped the original A/C for a low profile dometic A/C. It then fit barely into the shed. Recently we discovered that Lance outfits their TT's with a different axle type, resulting in an overall lower profile. Though they do make a model with an outdoor kitchen, we decided that having bunkbeds would be preferable, if I take it hunting or we have guests, so we ordered a similar size model to the 2201. Lance also has an all weather package which will come in handy in our northern climate and when we are on the road in the winter. Thanks to the great discussions about grills on this forum, I'm confidant I can come up with a suitable alternative to the outdoor kitchen. Though I will sorely miss that outdoor refrigerator.

We just purchased a 2017 2104RG Travel Trailer.

I am exploring the possibility of installing a Fantastic Fan in the bedroom, in place of the non-powered vent.

I see a 12v light above the headboard, under the cabinet.
I see another against the wall of the bathroom.

Where might I find diagrams on the best way to get access to the 12v circuits?

Mike I sure understand all of your reasons. My external propane grill has worked really well with the Minnie propane. Guess you could get one of those small 1 cuft refrigerators and plug it in when you got where you were going provided you have AC. Post a photo of the new rig when you get it.

We'll soon be getting a Minnie Micro 2106FBS. How is everyone's experience with the tankless water heater? Good or bad let me know. We'd like to order a red one with a black couch.
