Quick Favor

Can I ask a quick favor from Micro Minnie owners (esp anyone with a 2106FBS)- what are the dimensions (particularly height) of the external passthrough doors?

I would like to get the right sized plastic bins for utility storage. Thx!

robrob, congratulations on the new 2106FBS to be delivered soon. I predict that you and DW will love it. Sure glad you got the ladder.

They really tried pretty hard to steer me away from it!

Now that delivery (and $$$) has been pushed out weeks, I think I know why

Instead of firm plastic bins, we use flexible containers. They actually take less room and are easier to handle. Look at large nylon shopping bags. We also have a "dry bag" that is normally used for water camping. I put my sewer connections inside it, since it is waterproof.
My biggest obstacle to storage doors has been my lawn chairs.

Rob, since the 2101 and 2106 are nearly the same Minnie and since no one with a 2106 replied I measured the pass through door. It is 24.5" by 14.5".

Thanks so much. Thats helpful.

Also, good idea with the dry bags. I have a couple sitting around unused in the basement!

It's amazing how fast that front pass thru storage compartment will fill up. I have two plastic storage bins that all the little stuff goes into. One for each side. Without the storage bins, my power cord and water hose would be covered in an avalanche of bag chairs, tool kits, tables and carpets.

I coil my hoses in a collapsible trash can. The coil is round, also the can. Plastic storage bins are 50% air and wasted space.

So we purchased our first trailer cover. Didn't want to spend the money. It turned into a game with Hurricane Matthew as we live in Merritt Island near Cape Canaveral. The cover lasted several hours into the night and has flown the coop. We are not there to reclaim, just hoping the windows are properly sealed.

Spartan, I hope that no harm came to your family. Did you have much damage to your trailer or home?

Sorry to hear that.
Hope you don't have too much damage.

All this news is very upsetting.
Friends that live inland near Savanah are already reporting looters before the storm even hits.
What is our society coming to?

I'm not surprised. Savannah is pretty ghetto.

Woohoo!

Took delivery this am. Spent the afternoon getting setup, and right before sundown caught my first fish in like 10 years.
