The outdoor kitchen is one of the reasons we bought our 2201DS. I like to set up the grill next to the outdoor kitchen and we cook outside as much as possible. And, the extra bar fridge for drinks is so handy. When we traded our 29' Sunline for the Minnie, we wanted to get back to camping more like we did when the kids were younger and we camped in a pop up trailer. But, we have also made concessionns for age....I just purchased a Camco Big Red fireplace in a can. We'll be heading south at the end of February and I'm looking forward to using it.

Good luck with your new trailer, and I hope you enjoy it!

We bought the 2201DS because it had the outdoor kitchen and no bunk beds. It's just me, DW and Major the dog. We bought ours in November and have taken it on three trips so far. Paper plates and the outdoor kitchen make cleanup a breeze. The outside mini fridge is handy for keeping drinks. So far, everything works and we have had no warranty issues. I've already booked a week long trip to the Smokey Mountains in May. I'm just waiting on warm weather.

"Are there any other Minnies in Ga."

I'm in Georgia. We're located about 50 miles north of Atlanta.

Open Roads are a good bunch.
Unfortunately they were not a dealer yet when we bought our Minnie 2.5 years ago. We went up to Cumming, but that dealer lost the franchise.

Open Roads gave us a good deal. Our 2201DS had only been on the lot for two days when we bought it. Hopefully they are selling a bunch of Minnie TTs. I'd like to see more of them on the road.

I'm scratching my head over this one. You bought a Bunk House trailer but you don't need/want bunks, and you got an optional outdoor kitchen that you never intend to use?

I find the outdoor kitchen and second fridge are used all the time, though less in winter camping, obviously. Even just being able to wash my hands or fill the dogs' water dish outside is great.

I would love an outdoor kitchen. I do most of the cooking outside on a gas grill hooked up to Minnie. Especially when I fry catfish.

We use our outdoor kitchen for almost all of our cooking. It's one of the big reasons we bought a model with the outdoor kitchen. It keeps the cooking smells outside where they belong. I bought a small charcoal BBQ grill. I like cooking with real charcoal over propane. The outdoor fridge is handy for getting to another cold beverage without having to track stuff into the camper. The sink is also handy for washing hands.

A new home for our home away from home!

Just finished our new home and added a shed roof off the back of the garage to park the Minnie. I put in 30A service and there's a sewer clean-out port behind that functions as a dump hookup.

I still need to level the gravel a bit.
