Anyone familiar with SunnyBrook trailers

What this means in manufacturers terms is...cheapest product our procurement department can buy.

Like Rusty note, the tires on the trailer or motorhome is not the place to go cheap. By saving a few hundred on a set of tires, you may be looking at damage in the thousands due to losing a tire.

Your RV is running with the tires near maximum capacity. If possible, I will jump one tire rating and get a higher load rated tire.

The same goes for a tow vehicle. When towing, you have the truck pretty well loaded and tires are stressed.

I am under the impression DOT regulations state that access to LP tanks/cylinders must be un-restricted for emergency shut-off reasons. Time for another research mission for me it appears.

Soon after posting my comment about the Sunnybrook line, I traded my Mobile Scout in on a Heartland Bighorn, which I really love. The Bighorn has much more bang for the buck than my Mobile Scout and the manufacturer has been fabulous in their support for me. You might want to check out the North Country line at Heartland RV's/North Country

Yup, I have a 28.9 Brookside. One slide. Bed infront. 15 in wheels 2 axels. Itzaes fifth wheel. Pulling with 2008 GMC 3500 Duramax because I had it when we got the Brookside.
Could easily use a 2500. But the dually provide lateral stability in cross winds.
The Rv is well built. 3 season, though with modifications can do lite winter duty.

Winnebago bought Sunnybrook in December of 2010

Sunnybrook was a better than average RV and I have not heard anything bad about them. I believe they were bought by Winnebago and just sort of faded way.
