I have mounted a seatel in motion satellite to my rear bumper on a post mount but it is very wobbley the dome ways 50 pounds. the dome sits at roof height but sits behind the trailer. I think the only way to stop the sway is to put a bracket to the back wall, I mounted this on a poll because i didnt want to put holes in the roof. my trailer is a 2002 terry dakota canadian edition fifth wheel it does have bay window in the rear.
Im just not conviced i want to drill into the back of the trailer any thoughts or mounting help would be great help .
thanks mike

The mount is IMHO your real problem. First you mounted to a wobbly platform in that sewer hose carrier laughingly called a rear bumper. Then you stick a pole 6 feet in the air. Not a good situation and no matter what will eventually cause you more problems. Bolting it to the trailer wall will only create more issues. Please rethink your situation.
Thanks for your replies , I am removing the post untill I can think up a better solution. I know I should just mount it on the roof just didnt want to mess around with roof and incase i want to change trailers in the future. this dish is too expensive to pass on to next buyer its gps tracked seatel. thought about lowering it durring travel but the unit is 50 lbs and awkward.
