Atwood 8531 VI DCLP airflow problem

I looked through the other posts on here and didn't find an answer that fit my problem. Our furnace will not engage at all. We can hear the click from the unit but the blower motor will not turn on. The rig is set up to use but we are not in it all the time only a few days a week. We had the thermostat set for 65 but we do have electric heaters that keep the unit fairly well heated but turn them very low when we are not there so we have no idea how long the unit was running before we came home to find the blower not working. We pulled off the outside access panel and tried to turn the unit back on. It will click but the motor will not spin to draw in air. The led will flash once indicating there is an airflow problem. We also turned the unit off at the thermostat and flipped the breaker that was on the unit to off and then back to reset and tried again. Still the fan will not start. The fan turns freely we tried that also when the breaker was off. We also took the wires off of the breaker and put a wire between to jump them and the motor will still not engage. Any help would be great.

If I'm understanding you correctly... if you did apply 12VDC directly to the blower motor and it does not run then your blower motor is bad.

If you didn't apply 12VDC directly to the blower motor then I would look at the high limit switch - if it's bad nothing will start, including the fan. The high limit switch is easily accessible. Disconnect all 12VDC power to the furnace, remove the wires from both sides of the high limit switch and test through it with a meter. You should have continuity through the switch if it's working properly.
