Question Atwood range model 33 stovetop issue

I am having a problem with my Atwood range and i cant seem to find an answer. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. The center burner on my stovetop is lightning propane at the junction of the burner tube and the control valve under the regulator bar. I replaced the plastic burner bushing that slips into the burner tube, but it is still lighting propane from this connection, no matter how big the flame. when it does this the flames go to orange. This does not happen on any of the other burners.

Any one got any ideas?

Try cleaning the venturi with a pipe cleaner. Possibly a spider web causing the problem.

Ours had the same problem and I contacted Atwood. The lady I "spoke with" online was so helpful. She said the burner itself was probably bent and replacing the bushing would not solve the problem, so she sent a new burner. That fixed it! I had to provide the info on the stove which was new and still under warranty.
