Awning removal

At the beginning of the season, we purchased a 16' awning and installed it on our camper. All I did was attach the legs and slide it in the a lot and secure it. I then was able to flip the switch to roll down and it was ready to go. My question is this- do I have to do anything to remove this awning and put it on another camper? From what I can tell I leave the switch in the roll up position and then there will be no issues as I have no need to unroll it between installs. Thanks for the help!

You are correct. When I had a tt, I did the same thing. Once it's closed, it's closed. Whe you install the awning on the new trailer, the switch does not recognize open or closed. It is simply a "forward and reverse" switch. Keep it closed until you reinstall and it should work fine. Hope this helps!!
