Backing with 2pt equalizer

Looking for advice on backing TT with a 2pt equalizer attached. Should I remove it each time I am backing into driveway or campsite.

If you are referring to the Equalizer Brand WD hitch then the answer is it depends. I've had one for year and when I back up with a shallow turn into my spot, I leave it connected. If I really need to crank it tight into a spot, I disconnect the bars. You will bend the little silver "L" brackets if you turn it too tight in reverse. I have extra silver L's just in case.

Buy a Blue Ox Sway Pro and don't worry.

I remove my sway control prior to backing up, it is recommended by the dealer and makes sense to me and it only takes a few minutes to remove.
