Bathroom sink

The plastic sink in our Freedom Express trailer is just connected directly to the drain pipe with no strainer or metal drain piece. I have been trying to find a strainer/connection like what we have on our kitchen sink. I figure that eventually my wife is going to drop an ear ring or some jewelry down there and I will have to cut the drain pipe out to retrieve it. anyone know a source for connections and accessories for these sinks?

I used a small strainer that we picked up a 99 cent store that fits perfectly in my sink and shower.

It must have a 'P' trap. Otherwise it would stink in there.

We use these - I don't know if this is the correct size as they make different sizes - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1

thanx. if you look in the pictures on the packaging, there is a metal connection in the hole in the sink that that stopper fits into. my sink does not have a fitting like that. there is just a hole in the sink and it is glued right to the pipe. I am actually trying to find a metal piece like that to add to my sink. if my sink had that piece I think it would be easy to use one of the strainers mentioned so far.

This would be a good time to throw out the trash and get a good sink. While it is out, seal any raw edge with varnish and then install a new sink with caulk.

My sink is the same as yours - just a plastic sink mounted to the cabinet and the plastic pipe on the bottom. Same as my outdoor kitchen sink. They both came with a horrible little plastic stopper that never stays up. We ditched those and went with the sink shroom. It just pushes down into the hole - hair gets stuck on the shroom and water travels through it from the outside down through the middle hole on the bottom. I can take a picture if you like on Sunday. Working until then so I can't get to the trailer.
