Just a quick question.
When I charge my TT batteries from a battery charger, do I need to seperate the batteries?
I have two batteries wired in parellel(I believe thats the correct term, two 12volt batts wired + to + and - to -). They are connected by either 8 or 10 gauge wire(dealership installed). When I charge them can I just charge one batt and let the other one "mooch off of it" or do I need to charge both of them seperately?

No, just takes a little longer than it would with a single 12VDC battery.

Make sure the wires from the charging source are hooked up to the batteries so that the "+" is on the positive terminal post of one battery and the "-" is on the negative terminal post of the other battery.
Otherwise, if the charging wires are hooked onto to the "+" and "-" of just one of the batteries, that battery will get charged ever so slightly faster and better than the other.
Over time/charging cycles this leads to a imbalance between the two batteries causing one to drag down the other and to premature failure.
You're probably OK but I'd give it a check to make sure.

I have the Duramax Diesel. I'll have to start calling it a "DD."
Hmmm, you'd think that Google would have come up with "Powerstroke Diesel" instead of "Photoshop Document."

When a battery shop has 15 batteries connected up simultaneously with 15 sets of charging leads from one charger, all 15 batteries are actually being charged in parellel.
