Battery sizes

Hello gang,

Will a 6V, GC2 battery fit in a 12V, group 24 battery box?

a lot of the 6v batteries are taller than 12v most of the time.. especially the trojan 6v golf cart batteries.

as far as your deal a bit of online searches will show sizes of both.

My research says group 24 is 9.8 inches tall and the GC2 is 11.07 inches tall

Thanks, I guess I should have asked if the footprint is the same for both. I'll have to go with 2 batteries and 2 boxes.

Check the link,but I second the YES but they are taller reply.

The chart shows height,depth,width,tonnage (Weight), capacity and some other stuff 24's at the top, GC-2 at the bottom.
