Battery wiring

I found a stray black wire near the battery connection, there are two white on the neg. and one red on the pos. What is the black one for?

If you have an electric tounge jack , it could be the power line to the jack. It needs to be connected to the positive post if it is. The jack would be grounded by its attachment to the frame.
