You are correct that moving some of the mass higher and away from the fulcrum will make it harder for the trailer to raise the front end of the truck. I have never said that wasn't true. Air bags do help some of the weight stay up front.
But you also misunderstand what a WDH system does. It does - as in the following point is factual and/or occurs - redistribute weight from the rear axle of the tow vehicle to the front axle of the tow vehicle and to the trailer axles. Weight, as previously defined, changes. It does. I don't know how else to say it, yet you refuse to understand. Whether the change in weight is due to the application of levers, pulleys, anti-gravity lift devices or tractor beams from space, it does change. The force required to hold up the rear axle of the tow vehicle is decreased by a WDH system and the force required to hold up the front axle of the tow vehicle and the axles of the trailer is increased. The force exerted on the object by gravity, or the force needed to support it is weight. The forces needed to hold up the various points of the truck and trailer do change.
Lastly, I said "that's ridiculous" not "you're ridiculous". But at this point, sure, let's use the second one.

Valid points made, and taken.
uh, correction: I never said your WDH system would not work. I said it works via torsion. Implied, but not specified, I said airbags are a viable alternative and do balance "weight" by a different means. Also, I reasoned why: and not it works because I say it works.
I thought the purpose of this site is to express and banter ideas, and we may agree to disagree, but not with daggers drawn. Until next time, I bid you happy trails.
