I am looking to upgrade from a pop-up to a travel trailer. I have been using my brothers 01 Keystone Hornet which seems like a great trailer. I would like something similar with a bunkhouse and good floor space for under 10K. I've seen a few trailers for sale but don't know which makes are good and which aren't. Anyone have any suggestions to look for or to stay clear of?

Years ago, we too went looking to upgrade from our Pop-up to a TT. We looked at numerous used units, but seems like they always wanted quite a bit of money. We eventually bought a new unit for only a little more than dealers wanted for their used units. Remember used TT are sort of like used Cars, you have to ask yourself, "Why was this traded in?" I will admit the TT we traded in for our 5er was a pile of junk, thus part of our reason for getting rid of it. So "Buyer Beware". Probably some of the best deals would be part of an estate sale or someone because of health reasons is selling their unit. What ever you do, check, double check, and triple check everything. Also remember to keep you TV in mind and make sure you can tow what ever you get. A great deal isn't so great if you can't tow it safely.
Happy hunting
