Big Problem with New Trailer

Are new 2012 KZ Sportsmen as a big problem. The vin # on are owner ship does not match the one on the trailer. The trailer is tag as a build date of 08/ 2002 with a vin that matches with build date. Are owner ship show a build date of 2012. There's 6 # in both vin that don't match up.
So for all you owner's of KZ trailer, my advise is to check to see if your vin # match. We have contacted are dealer and KZ, still waiting for a responds.

No experience or really advice, just wanted to say I hope you get it sorted out. How crazy.

Does the trailer seem new all the way around, inside, outside and underneath?

COuld be as simple as a typo on your paperwork. I once bought a MH and didn't catch the fact that the VIN was listed incorrectly on the bill of sale. Caught it when applying for insurance. Called the dealer and he fixed it immediately. All went well after that.

Problem solved by KZ, they ask if we could check the vin on the tongue of the trailer. It was punch on the top of the tongue which matches are ownership and bill of sale. They are sending new stickers for us to replace.
Thank to Rose at KZ RV for all the help.

cdstrohm the trailer is a new as it can be. Just look like someone had a bad day with keying the vin for the stickers.

Good news. I hope that's the biggest problem you ever have with the rig.

If I had a $20 for every Sportsman I've hauled I'd be able to take a vacation.

Hey, the vin issue isn't too bad. I hauled a set of three via flat bed to a dealer and found a caulk gun left on one of the trailers that had glued itself to the roof.
