A wet Bounce dryer sheet followed by fresh water rinse will take care of it. This also works amazingly to remove dead bugs off vehicles and trailers.

I have found that after I coated my alum Roof with White Kool-Seal that my black streaks are 99% gone.
I think the black streak were really just Aluminum streaks. once the aluminum is sealed off from the rain the streaks went away.

Go to the dollar store - Dollar Tree - and buy a bottle of Awesome. Spray it on. Wipe it off. Black streaks gone. And you only spent a buck!! Just rinse real well after using it. It is, well........Awesome!! My DH keeps calling it "Fabulous;" our little joke. Good luck!

I would dilute it, even at 50/50 it will still work. The stuff is great and may even more than likely take off any wax that you have on that area. Believe the bottle states to dilute when cleaning, plus it saves more for next time.

Castrol "Super Cleaner", usually in a purple container, works much the same way. It WILL remove any wax if used full strength.

That stuff will remove paint if you're not careful. Used it on my dads house after he died to remove years and years of nicotine build up. The old paint came off the walls in SHEETS.

Straight from the bottle. like I said, RINSE well. Then re-wax. From what I hear, wax is e best preventative measure.

But it DID remove the nicotine, right? That must have been some kind of really good paint - or you applied it right out of the bottle?
Kidding aside, it IS a pretty aggressive cleaner and for that reason maybe you would want to test it prior to using it on the hood of your new car? My experience though, on boats, airplanes (exhaust stains!), and RV's of all sorts over the last 40 years or so (this product, or similar, has been around as a commercial wax stripper just about forever), has been a little more positive than what yours was.
Besides it's ability to wipe black streaks off with no scrubbing (even when reduced 10:1 w/water), it's also VERY good at removing surface oxidization like that found on older alum/fiberglass RV's. (I've found it safe to use around vinyl graphics when used like that.) It's something you might want to try prior to Red Max Pro application? It does require a lot of rinsing or it leaves a residue behind.
All disclaimers apply....
