I agree, a sanican system is just something else to go wrong. Its no different that anything else. As long as there are new people to a certain situation, there are going to be people that prey on their inexperience and fears. You have a 3 inch diameter hose, not too many humans have excriment that large. If you are in a CG, just use lots of water. If you boondock, use a good bacterial digester that breaks dowm solids quickly, which allows you to use less water. Personally, I use RV Digest-It, it breaks down orgamic solids quickly and eliminates odors. I use it at CGs as well as boondocking.

I don't use chemicals that can kill bacteria and don't flush my tanks for the same reason

Thanks, you make sense. I'll use the non potable hose to wash the car and RV.

Works for me.

RV-Digest it, Calgon Water Softner and plenty of water. Get Digest-It here.

How are the tornado tank rinsers installed? Is it an easy install? These can be purchased at Camping World from what I understand. Thanks,

I bought a Tornado but haven't gotten it installed yet. Hopefully in the next week it will get done. I will keep you posted.
