Black Tank/Vanity

In our 2000 Keystone Sringdale 25RKLS we have a split bath, vanity and sink on one side, and toilet/tub on the other. What i find strange, and don't like, is the vanity sink drains into the black tank and shower in the grey. Is this normal ?

Some models do, some do not. Don't do it in the shower and it won't matter. ;-)

My outside kitchen sink goes to the black tank. No big deal I guess. If the shower went there then there would be an issue but not too much water goes down the sink.

Previous coach bath lav went to the black tank. Normal usage not a big deal due to low utilization. Was convenient when needing to add a couple gallons to the black tank after dumping.

Actually the soapy water in your black tank is good for it. Thetford Sani-con uses an equalization process to purge grey water into the black tank to help clean the walls and keep the sensors working.
