Blue Fresh Water Hoses

Talking about fresh water hose on another thread, and i mentioned wanting to get the blue ones, the ones i have seen claim low temp. flexibility. That would sure be nice when packing up when it's cold, Any one with ant experience with theses ? Worth the cost ?

We bought one from Wally World over a year ago, no problems. Connectors seem to be a little heavier duty. As for low temp it will heat up in the sun as good as the others, no real difference between this one & the white ones.

We have 2 of the white hoses, but they kink up so bad when it's cold ( must confess, a minor problem in Southern Ga. ) but just a thought !!!!

I have one of the blue ones. In cold weather it will not kink but is still stiff enough that it won't roll up exactly as you want. Even with that, it's still the best hose yet.
By cold I mean 45-50 and cloudy.

I just purchased this hose from Lowe's. It says drinking water safe. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.

There must be different brands of the dark blue drinking water hoses because mine kinks so badly that I usually leave it home. I think it came from Walmart. I bought a fabric potable water hose (CW) that I carry as an extra when I need the length. It folds up very small and has not failed me (yet.)

I knew someone would comment on my 'cold' temps. LOL. My point was that when the temps get in that range the hose becomes stiff enough that it won't roll up as easy as if it were sitting in the sun on an 85* day.
That hose from Lowes looks promising.

I have the white vinyl hoses that flex similar to a piece of uncooked spaghetti and I have looked for something better. So far the ones I have seen are same stuff different brand. Still looking.

I just bought this last night.
After my rubber hose fiasco, I'm taking no more chances so I'm adding this pipe under my deck where my water source will come from. This way I will have 100% white water into my RV.

I have that exact hose. It has served us well for the past year, but I can't say how flexible it is over any other hose.

Ali - Did not see anything about cold temp. flexibility, Being that you are in the great white north ( i envy you on that ), plus. leave your deck at home when you go camping !
