877-338-7373 Googles to Dr. Performance, Brakesmart's apparent new owner.

No problem unless you own the company or are getting a commission on their sales. I didn't interpret the post as advertising - just passing on information that a number of people are quite interested in hearing.

If I were starting from ground zero or had to replace my Jordan, I might well purchase the Brakesmart. As long as the Jordan is working fine, though, spending the $$$ on the Brakesmart is hard for me to justify.

So what's the deal, is Steve out of the picture now?
I sent him an e-mail and will post his reply (assuming I get one)

Strange, the BrakeSmart website has been erased and a single page has taken its place with instructions to call for BrakeSmart info.

That's a very odd way of transitioning from one owner to another. They've essentially removed all of the usefull reference and technical material from public view. That'll sell a lot of BrakeSmart's...

That was my thought also Wes. Needless to say I haven't got a reply to the e-mail I sent to Steve. The whole deal is really strange, it's been right around a year this has been going on and Steve has a list of potential customers that he was going to contact when the produt became available.

I spoke to someone at the number listed. They are located in Weatherford Texas. If you want one installed its $495.00. Hope this helps for those interested.

Apparently the business has been sold to Dr. Performance in Weatherford, TX. I'd try the phone number listed earlier and see if they can provide the technical information you need.

Obviously I'm out of the loop here. I have a Reese Brakesmart controller, but it cost <$100.(must not be the same one) It works well, but I opted to leave it in my old truck and buy a Tekonsha Primus controller for the new Chevy.

An update on the Brakesmart. The web page listed below has all the info on the Brakesmart controller from Dr. Performance.
