Brand new TT stolen!

A week after picking up my brand new Pacific Coachworks Northland 21FBS it disappeared from the driveway in the middle of the night. I live in Los Angeles County but for all I know it is in a barn in Ohio by now. The VIN ends in 1554. I've filed a report with the police and insurance but apparently there's almost nothing that can be done they say. The day it disappeared was the same day I received the tongue lock and was looking into disconnecting the battery (electric tongue jack). Just really sucks and I hope if anyone see's it they let the police know and think twice about leaving their trailer accessible for thieves.

Tires chained together and all the jacks down. All you can do is slow them down.

Wow! Sorry to hear about the loss of your new trailer. Hopefully your insurance will treat it as new.

Two things I truly hate:
#1 Thief
#2 Liar
One in the same to me.
I have worked since I was twelve years old and have earned everything I have. I have no sympathy for anyone who gets caught for stealing anything.
I hope your TT gets found and the thief gets the book thrown at him (or her).
Good Luck,
Lynn

I use a 5th wheel lock and also disable the landing legs with the stock landing leg disconnect and also a switch in a secret location.

The information is out there, all you have to do is let it in.

I hope that you were insured and the thief crashed it and the hitch went through the back of his skull and out the other end. Sorry for the gory comment but nothing irates me more, like one of the other member here said, than THIEFS AND LIARS!

I will bet,,,,, who ever stole it, this was not his first. he has been arrested and been in jail before. He knows if he gets caught he will be out of jail before you get a new TT. So, where is the root of the problem? Stealing stuff is some peoples life work. If they are not locked up, they are stealing your stuff. The answer is easy. But, if they don't find the TT soon it probably will never be found unless by accident.

Sorry to hear...it makes me angry when someone who obviously doesn't work just helps themselves to someone else's property. Hopefully karma finds them.

Live in it, create a meth lab in it, who knows, logic and thief rarely go together.

X2, sorry for your loss, and hopefully the insurance company settles with you real quick and you get another one. I wouldn't really want this one back anyway if I were you, who knows what they will do in it. Either they stole it to live in/manufacture meth or they are parting it out. When you get your next one, put all the locks and anti theft things you can on it as crooks are lazy and will victimize the point of least resistance, but remember too that locks keep honest people honest, and if the crook really wants it he will take it.

These guys tear them apart and sell the scrap. Tires/wheels, axles/suspension to the swap meet, cut out all the aluminum and sell that at the steel yard along with the cut up frame, the usable stuff from the inside-fridge, tv's, stove, microwave, water heater, AC all go to the swap meet.
Swap meets are full of stolen stuff.

Being this was close to the border they could of took it to Mexico.

You work your butt off to get the money for something, then some worthless being comes along and just decided they want it, so they take it.
I have zero sympathy for them when they get caught.
