I am looking for models with a bunkhouse suitable for 3 or 4 kids. I will tow with a 2010 Tundra SR5. Any and all suggestions, recommendations and advice would be much appreciated. Theres so much out there... ??? somewhat leaning toward a slightly used, leftover new TT around 10-15k -TY

The first must item is to determine the weight ratings of your vehicle, and obtain actual weight of the tow vehicle, loaded as if ready to go camping. These weight ratings and actual weights will determine the rest of your buying experience, and the comfort of towing the trailer. If you do not locate a bunkhouse model suitable, you might consider a toy-hauler(most have a double bed above the garage) and convert it to your use. We have a Keystone Laredo triple bunk, we have three boy. It works good, we can put them to sleep and watch a movie. It's a 5th wheel, not sure if the tundra is enough pickup, we have 3/4 ton dodge.

The truck has the pull but not the bed for a 5er. I'd like to keep the TT length/weight down to maximize my ride comfort. Our most desired options are a quad bunk (but single over double bunk would do) queen and wrap around dinette. Not sure Ive yet seen this dinette w/out a slide and it seems to me that kicks the size up quite a bit.

Welcome to iRV2, Wisepole. You've come to the right place for answers & our members will chime in to help you.
The mfr I've seen that meets all of your criteria (quad bunks, u-shaped dinette, queen bed) yet be within your tow capacity is Keystone. We owned a Cougar 5th wheel & were very happy with it. Jayco is another mfr with a couple models meeting your needs. They have a great reputation for quality & customer service. I would think you should be able to find floorplans at either of these & then you can search for used models.
Happy shopping & keep us posted on your search. If you have any questions, just ask.

Hey Wisepole
Before my current trailer, I purchased a Coachmen 26BH(new 2010) for around $13,500. The floorplan is here. For the price, I don't think you can beat the Coachmen.
You should be able to comfortably tow this with your Tundra. The design is very well thought out.
Good Luck
Tom
