Buy trailer off showroom floor?

This may be a silly question, but would you rather buy a trailer that has been inside on the showroom floor being walked through alot or one that has been sitting outside thats had alot less foot traffic?

Most display models should be priced lower than a brand new one, and thus may be a better bargain, Of course, a buyer should check for wear and tear. So for enough of a discount, I'd go with the display.

I lucked out with mine. They got the tralier delivered on a weekend. Drove it into the show room and I bought it 2 days later.

I personally would want a "virgin" RV. All 3 I have bought I ordered. But...if the price is right....a floor model can be had...just check it over for loose trim, dings and carpet wear...

We took the better deal on the showroom model. The shop guy went over everything with me and I got a supply of new light bulbs installed as the old ones would have been on a lot. Tires did look as if they'd never seen sun. It was cleaner than the ones on the lot outside. There have been zero issues and we are happy customers.

We took ours off the showroom floor. We had seen the other three similar models in the yard and liked the options on this one. We concluded the negotiations in the showroom model and the dealer was all ready to go get one of the rigs off the lot when I told him that I thought we were talking about THIS one. The salesman and the sales manager spent a few minutes conferring with the finance manager and said OK. We were happy and the price was very right.
