We've been RVing almost twenty years nine of that fulltime. In all of that the only thing ever taken from us was a extra sewer hose I carried in the square bumper of our first 5er. We were in Durango, CO at United Campground.

I have been camping for 50 years and never have recall of any thief I have had as a camper and as a RVer (20 years) that I can recall. As someone said I think 90% of thief happens in storage.

I became go neighbors to a camper while in West Yellowstone 2 summers ago. He told us how is propane take was stole during the night while camping somewhere in Arizona. Thus he now has them locked to the frame
of the RV.

Lucky for me I have never had a issue or hear of anything in the camp park
I been camping. Now homicide during the night... Different story..... But never thief...

I have to say in retrospect that the only time I have had a break in was while in storage. Funny thing about that, they knew it and didn't say anything to me until I asked to view the security video when I discovered my bathroom door open.

They have yet to contact me and I have moved it to another closer location since.
