X2... we always stay there. Clean, 50amps, quiet, pool, and just 15 minutes from the park entrance.

If you cant get into Watchman or Zion River Resort, the next best thing is Willow Wind RV Resort in Hurricane.

We stayed at Zion River Resort in October. We had no reservations. There were plenty of sites available. Very nice campground.

x4 on Zion River RV Resort. I stayed there twice and both times it was great. One time they put us in the owner's spot. It was in the corner, had a view, and was a nice sized site.

We just got back from 11 days at Bryce Canyon, staying at Ruby's Inn & Campground. We then took day drives to Zion's and the Cedar Breaks. It was an easy drive. We also geocache so took drives in other directions too for caches and the sites. So if you can't find anything close, you can also consider places a days drive away.

Anywhere close to Bryce, you gotta check out Kodachrome State Park.
They just redid a lot of the sites, full hookups and spectacular scenery.

I was at Ruby's for 2 days 8-23. It was OK but Cedar Brakes was great. I hope to be at Zion river before the end of the year for a few days.
