+1! I saw this video too, and it makes a lot of sense.

Yes, thats what you should have gotten. Read the front of the containers carefully. Some are just odor eliminators. The difference is that odor eliminators do nothing to break down the solids... they only give it a fragrance. And avoid them and the "blue stuff" all together... your coach will end up smelling like a Greyhound bus after a cross country trip inside...LOL ! My chemical of choice is called BioActive. I buy the $16 bucket of granules from Camping World. Its non staining, and has a very light, pleasant scent. With the tank empty and dump valve closed, I fill the toilet bowl with water, add 2 scoops, flush, add one more bowl full of water, flush, and I'm good to go. By the end of the weekend when I dump the tank, its pure liquid. ( I have a clear sewer hose ) Hope this helps ! BTW, that $16 bucket lasts me about 6 months.

We use the "Kirkland" brand from Costco and have for years. Before that we used what ever was in the stick house.
My experience with RV's dates back to before there were toilets in most RV's, in fact the first TT my parents rented (in 1957) had a pull out, plywood seat with a plastic bag under it.
In all the years I've been RV'ing I've never had a sewer plug up or "black tank pyramid" so I must be doing it right!
