Carefree Travel R Electric Awning

I just bought a new travel trailer and it came with a Carefree Travel R electric awing. I hate it. But I am stuck with it because I do not want the holes in the side of the fiberglass if I remove it and install a manual roll up awning. It says it has an auto dump feature but we just had a rain storm and all the water did was pool up in the middle and I had to use a broom to push up on the awning to get rid of the water. Does anyone know if there is a tilt kit available for this awing either by Carefree or an after market company? The awning is a pain because if there is a remote chance for rain you have to roll it up, and put everything away underneath it so it does not get soaked. I do not trust Carefree's so call auto dump feature. I stood there while it was raining and the awning just loaded up with water. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks
Jerry

Call Carefree and tell them what it is doing or not doing and it might be that it was not installed correctly from the factory/manufacture.
