Check your outside speakers

I just replaced the outside speakers on my 2012 TT. The speaker material had cracked and could have leaked water inside the wall if it got up in there. Is there some sort of waterproof liner to put behind the speaker to protect from this happening again? I sure wish they hadn't have put speakers on the outside since it is a rare occasion to be able to use them in most campgrounds and RV parks.

Did you find any .22 cal lead in there, or maybe a rock from a sling shot? That could be your problem.

No, just the cheap OEM speaker material rotting from the Texas sun. And the TT stays under cover when not being used.
