I replaced my cooling unit with an Amish cooling unit about two years ago, and glad I did. Recommendations, take picture of the areas before you disassemble it, this will give you an idea how to put it back together. Put plenty of the caulk/sealant where the instructions tell you to put it, use plenty of metal tape to seal the back of the cooling unit. When you have to put the fins back in, I used pieces of blue painters tape in a socket to hold the screws until I could get the screws started in there holes . My fingers are to fat to fit between the fins. I made a platform the same height as the refer, to slide the refer out of its hole and onto the platform. Made life a lot easer doing this myself. Took a few hours, but well worth it. Also, a portable tables work great outside holding your tools, parts, and other things needed to do the job. Make sure the fans work while the unit is out of the hole.
