Cruiser RV- Shadow Cruiser Pop Out Issue
Anyone here have a Cruiser RV, Shadow Cruiser? I just bought a 280QBHS, and already have an issue with the pop out not coming in sometimes. I had to physically push it in while the wife pushed the button to get it in on our first trip out, and this was with full hook ups.
Another member has a similar model and told me he had the same issue.
Anyways, its at the dealer now still waiting to hear from them, but wondering if anyone else had this issue and what they did to fix it.thanks.

If it's like someone I know, they have the Schwintek system from Lippert. That's about all I know. His has always worked.

Cruiser RV slide out
Hi! Don't know if you still have your Cruiser. But we bought one in 2015 and the slider did not start acting up until the frame bent. But we just talked to someone who had his slider not come back in and it was because the manufacturer did not adjust some belt and it ruined the controler. He has had is trailer only since about Feb or Mar 2015. Out of warranty (naturally)! Our trailer is still in the shop being fixed so who knows when and what they will tell us on the slider.

The Schwintek slide system is usually pretty good. When operating the slide, hold the button until the slide is all the way in or all the way out. No stopping and changing direction part way. When it gets to the end of the run, hold the button another 2-3 seconds. It's designed to do this. If the slide gets out of wack and won't close like yours did, bring it in about 8" and then open it all the way up holding the button 2-3 seconds at the end of the run. Do this 3 times. This should reset the zero according to what I've been told. Since you have a brand new trailer, it could have been installed incorrectly so it may have never worked to begin with. Good luck.

Hi there BB! Good to know about the slider. I did not like pushing the slider in. But since the axles bent causing a blowout causing the frame to bend causing the slider to smash into the floor on one side on Sept 06, 2016 -- Lippert has not fixed the frame so we still are without the trailer. Last year the axles bent and the dealership had the trailer from Sept to March fixing the axles. Dealership forgot to winterize. Frozen solid in March. Now here we are again. Hopefully they winterized. We are getting freezing temps now. If we ever get the trailer back in working condition I will surely check the sliders to see if they are fixed!!! KSW

We have a 2016 22' shadow cruiser
No issues with the slide. I hold the button (coming in or going out) until I hear the ratcheting noise.
The slide adjusts itself by taking it all the way in or out.
It works for us.

Hello Denny. We did try that but no go. And now that the axles bent and the tire blew out and the frame bent. The slide is gouging the floor on one side. If the axles would have been sufficient for the weight of the trailer there would have been no bending, blowout tire, bent frame etc. Lippert is taking their sweet time in fixing this problem. The trailer is still in the dealership waiting for them. Trailer has been there since Sept. 07, 2016. This is a Feb. 2015 trailer. We used the trailer 5 months in 2015 when the axles bent the first time. This was the 2nd time. We we able to use the trailer 4 months in 2016. We are not rich. We are paying for a trailer that we cannot use. We have had to rent a trailer for trips already planned and paid for because our trailer sits in the dealership. Lippert sucks. Thanks for your advice on the slider though. Every little bit helps from the actual consumer.

Check into small claims court, or seek legal help. Seems like a slam dunk,You need to get your money back.
RV's are all potential nightmares, I am sorry you suffer from all these issues.
