Deadbolt is now dead?

2014 Grey Wolf TT, 29ft.
I've been locking the handle and the deadbolt when I leave.
All of a sudden the deadbolt will not function. It is stuck in the open or unlocked position/retracted.
The key will not open it or turn it. The knob from the inside will not move.
So odd. It does have a keyless panel which I have never used and do not know the code.
Any tips appreciated.

There was an RV deadbolt recall a couple years ago. I don't have the details anymore because I checked mine and it was not effected.
It had something to do with pulling the key out of the lock when it was in the horizontal position. The deadbolt key must be returned to the vertical position before you remove the key.

The recall was because if you locked the RV with the key and pulled it out in the horizontal position, a person inside you NOT be able to unlock the door from inside with the lever.
It did the same in the unlocked position, but that didn't warrant a recall.

Hope that helps. If not, make sure it's not an alignment issue with where the bolt hits the strike plate in the wall. Does the deadbolt operate with the door open?

Thank you.
Yes, I found the recall online last night. It appears if you withdraw the key at the 9 O' Clock position it will stick where it is and not move.
Hello, 2014 model and this is still an issue?? Crazy.

I pulled the lock mechanism off from the inside and used pliers to turn the post that moves the dead bolt and that got it free.
I'm lucky I guess that it froze in the unlock position.

I probably should just replace the lock.

I replaced one of mine because although I have two doors the recall only allowed one lock to be replaced and now after replacing it sometimes the whole cylinder just pulls out with the key inserted.... I decided I am going to just buy two new locks or door handles and replace them.
