What's the best and safe for the finish ,

stuff to get the remaining glue off after removing all the stickers from a new TT ?

GoofOff, Goo-B-Gone, Acetone, WD40 ... all will do pretty well (depending on the type of adhesive the dealer used). After you have removed all of the glue, rub some car wax into the spot(s) to replace the factory finish that was removed by the glue and solvents. \ken

I can tell you that acetone will quickly remove paint so goo is best.

I have had success with methyl hydrate. Use rubber gloves as it will dry your hands out.

I found that after the warranty runs out the stickers actually fall off....

Although I keep ALL the stickers and cardboard things to hang back up when I park it in storage. Makes me feel like I'm going into my brandy new RV every time I pick her up.

For whatever reason, our dealer uses a sticker about 14" wide on the rear of his units. I don't mind advertising his store verbally, but that size sticker is ridiculous as I PAID him to buy my $$$$ 5er but he isn't paying me to advertise for the next sale. I did leave a small dealer sticker next to the door, but that will come off soon.

I was able to pick his sticker off in tiny pieces, but instead of using one of the 'wonder' products, I just used some good liquid cleaner-polish (Meguiar's). It took a little longer along with a little more elbow grease, but it accomplished two things - cleaned the goo off plus put a nice shine on that rear cap.

A note about Goo Gone - I tried that on another trailer (luckily an out of sight trial) and it 'lifted' the paint

3M makes an adhesive remover that is safe on paint and works pretty good. It is very good at removing adhesive left after removing Diamond Shield.

Heat it with a hair dryer first and peel carefully. NEVER use and kind of solvent on the finish. The residual glue came off easily with Meguiars 50 RV/Marine cleaner wax, which is great for keeping the whole rig looking new.

Thanks for all the replies,and tried the WD-40 and it did ok for most of them, there was one where most of the adhesive was left behind and it wasn,t doing much. So tried some good old fashion turpentine, did the trick just fine.
I cleaned the area and rewaxed.
