Did it!!!New Travel Trailer

Well the DW and I just purchased out first travel trailer.
Thanks to all of you for your help. I've spent a long, long time reading on this site and absorbing all the great info.
Pick-up is next Thursday. We got a Passport 2920. I am also getting the Bkue Ox Sway Pro WD hitch, Tekonsha P3 brake controller, and upgraded to Carlisle HD "D" rated tires, and got the Max Air vent covers. Also CIPA slip on trailering mirrors.
Thanks to all the good input here I feel really comfortable with these added items. All well reviewed.
Sure there is plenty more to add and many questions left to ask. I went with add-ons/upgrades right now that can get me home safely.
We are excited to start sharing wonderful memories with our family.

hidee ho

Hello and welcome from northern Arizona!! Just last week had Discount Tires put Carlisle HD load range D tires on our 2013 Forest River Surveyor 220. OEM tires were load range C and I am looking forward to more peace of mind with the better tires. Happy Camping!!

Now wait, if you start with the Sway Pro, you won't know how good it is compared to most of what is out there.

Texas, lol. I took the words of so many on this site to heart. I guess I'll have to suffer through never knowing.

I can't wait to pick this trailer up. Just got in from trimming branches away from both driveways so that there is enough clearance for the trailer.

We aren't telling the kids. It's been a secret. They will be so excited.

While you are doing the mods. Add a TPMS on the TT. I suggest a TST unit.
