any odors from the wood in your RV? I left some of our clothes in our Cougar high country 321RES bedroom dresser drawers and they stink ! Its like a wood glue or stinky wood smell. Does anyone have an idea for me to eliminate the smell? the drawers are unfinished sides and center divider, any experience with sealing it with paint or ??? Please give me some ideas....

Is the rig pretty new? I ask because the smell you describe sounds like "outgassing" from the various glues and finishes used in construction. That will diminish over time-best way to accelerate it is to ventilate well.

Fabric left in drawers, especially if for a relatively long time, will certainly pick it up- regular washing should remove the smell. If not, try washing again with some pretreatment added ("Shout", for example, has some petroleum distillate-removing properties).

Thanks, Francesca. I have everything out to wash. We have had the trailer a year and bought it very slightly used. I was hopeful all the "new smell" would be gone! I pulled all the drawers out when stored in our RV port this winter to air it out, that may not be enough. Thank you for the Shout idea, I will do it !
