Dometic AC Fan issue

When fan is on auto, it does not always kick in when the compressor does. I let it run for about 5 minutes, then I turn it off.

I normally do not camp in places where I need A/C so not sure if this is normal.

Does fan run in manual?

Fan should come on just as soon as t-stat calls for A/C Unit to start
Fan & compressor basically start at same time

So does Fan run in manual...High speed/Low speed?

Fan was also only working intermittently as well. I did take it to a shop and they found a cut in my shore power cord. Replaced the cord and everything seems to be working now!
