Ok I have looked for my problem until I am blue in the face and still can't find a answer to what is going on with my fridge.

Day before yesterday I opened my fridge and notice that the light was not on. So I took the bulb out and yesterday I went to the local hardware store. I didn't pay much attentsion to the bulb when I pulled it out of the fridge but when I got the hardware store I did look at the bulb to find a number on it and notice that the bulb was still in good condition. I went over and test the bulb with a volt meter and the bulb is still good. I went home without buying a bulb and when I got home the fridge didn't seem to be too cold inside. I checked the freezer and it seemed cold but I also have a lot of meat in there so I am thinking now that it was just cold because of all the frozen food I have in it. All the lights on the control board on the front of my fridge are working. (Turn fridge on and off and to switich from electric to gas) I checked the 20 amp fuse and that was still good. The breaker didn't trip that is still on the on position and I even turned it to off and then turned it back on.

If anyone has anything I can try I would appericiate it.

Welcome Quest15 to irv2.
Without knowing what mode and age, have you checked the light holder for 12V and checked the door switch for its function while measuring the 12V.
Also may want to check to see if you have the necessary 12V for operation behind the fridge in vent area.
Check the wire leads to control board for dirty or loose connections and you said not sure if the fridge is cooling, check around the cooling coils for a yellow substance make sure your not loosing the cooling coils.
If you look at this PDF will show light circuit #6 on drawing near bottom of PDF.

If the bulb is good then your possible suspects are:

Switch: (dirty, cycle it several times without the lamp in the socket and see if it works)

Lack of 12 volts at the switch (Measure with volt meter) to an "External" ground

Lack of ground at teh socket (Measure 12 volt lead to ground)

NOTE: switch might be on the ground side so check both.

If you have no 12 v at Switch/socket assembly go outside, On the left (In my case) is a black box with several fuses inside. I do not know how important it is.
the lamp wire is, as I recall a red wire on the circuit board on the bottom but without checking please do not quote me.. I do know (Because I blew the fuse) it gets power from the black box on the left.

On the Dometic New Demensions frige there is a master light control switch inside the door frame at the top. It could be in the wrong position and prevent light from working.
I have never been able to get my door switch to work properly so I have just written it off and use only the master switch mentioned.
