Dometic RV Refrigerator 3+3 waranty

Dometic offered me their extended 3 +3 year warrenty.......
Cost is $189...
Since the original refrigerator only lasted 4 years , the extended warrenty seems like a good choice......
Has anyone had any experience with the extended warrenty , good or bad.....thanks Barrie

With proper care and use, your frig should last longer than the trailer. Keep it leveled to within 6* front-to-back and 3* side-to-side while in operation, looking at the frig door. Keep the chimney clear of obstructions and vents clear so cooling unit doesn't overheat.
The 3 yr extended warranty may be a good deal but I've never had the need for any extended service plan/warranty. BTW, the original 3 yr warranty is only valid if you have it serviced annually by a licensed technician.

As is the extended warranty--no proof of annual service, they can deny coverage.

I decided to purchase the extended warranty , I talked to my RV dealer and they seen many failures this past summer , usually in newer RV's...
