Thanks Nighthawk, we saw the floor plan and loved it. What about storage. Didn't see a pantry. where does one put their clothes when traveling for a month or so?

Hi rbos57

27DSRL does not have a pantry, however we keep caned goods in the lower part of the entertainment cabinet and paper cups and towels in the top part of it.

The Jay Flight 27RLDS has a pantry, however that takes away from the counter space and there is one less cabinet above the sink. It is also 600 lbs heavier than the White Hawk.

White Hawk has a very large storage space in the bathroom, also under the bed is plenty of space for clothes. The pass thru storage at the front of the trailer is quite large, way bigger than our previous Jayco Jay Flight 26BH

We got the dining room table with 4 chairs in place of the dinette. Much more leg room for me. We leave two chairs home. I did not find the barrel chairs to be comfortable, so I bought a recliner for the curb side and we have a dog crate in the street side. We are planning a long trip next year and will not take the dog (a 100 lb black lab) and put our two Yamaha 2k generators on the floor in that space, and plastic bins above for clothes. DW like to sit or lie on the couch; she is only 5" tall.

Have added a digital thermostat which keeps the temp much more consistent, new faucet in bathroom, new fan in bathroom, and an electrical management system (EMS) by Progressives Industries and converted outside electrical cable to be a quick disconnect.

I spend most of my forum time at the Jayco Owners Forum. Lots of good info there and a very civil and helpful group of people.

A little more information

Per CAT Scale our total truck and trailer weights 12800 lbs
Trailer weighs 6800 lbs loaded with 1/3 tank fresh water.
Trailer axle about 5900 lbs, and tongue weight about 900 lbs.

Our truck has a GCVWR of 16000 lbs and payload of 6900 lbs, which we are right at.
We have a cap on our truck which adds about 200lbs, but provides a lot of locked storage space.
