electrical problem/noise

2008 forest river sierra.trailer. Can have some or all of lights on and if i turn off one light i get a hissing sound from behind breaker box. sounds like air comming from tire. There is no set pattern to cause this sound, I can turn on any three lights or more and turn off any given one and the hissing sound starts. Concerned about safety. I have this year due to fuel cost gone seasonal in a campground so I am hooked up to power. I have disconnected battery and power and it st still occurs when hooked to one or the other. Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks in advance-phil

I agree it sounds like the fan, but I would remove the breaker box and check the ground connections for the 12 volt system. Usually there is a bus bar with numerous white wires attached. Make sure all are tight.

if You do remove the panel cover to tighten any screws Unplug from the 110Voltage and also remove the +-12volt cable from the Battery save a shock and a short that way after removeing the feed switch a light on both 12v and 110 to drain any power in the system off good luck
