X2... We see a good number of pretty junky looking places, brown lawns, stuff laying around, cars up on blocks, etc., but a nice big RV in the driveway. Personally, I wouldn't buy an RV unless I had my house in really good shape. It's funny, I also see a lot of BMW's, Escalade's, etc. parked at really unkempt homes as well. I guess image is more a priority than pride in maintaining your home to lot's of folks.

Our last three MH's have each cost more than our stick house and we bought a Parade Of Homes house during the show in 1988. Same year we bought our first Type B MH. For a while I used that MH as my daily driver.
We could have afforded far more house, just didn't want/need it. I don't need 7,000 sq ft of house on 5 acres. Found that 2,400 on ¼ acre is just fine.

The bigger the home/land, the bigger the upkeep.. If you have a smaller piece of property , its easier to shutdown for travel..

I'd like to have more land for toy parking. I could move to a larger lot, but everything is paid for now. I'm retired and don't need no stinking payments.

I like our 2 acres, very little upkeep for me, DW does all the yard work and landscaping. If she ever quits hello condo.

My first house was on 1-1/4 acres and I had the outside; DW had the inside. DW would sit and watch cartoons with her son all morning. She would get upset when I finished the outside, came in to drink beer and watch NASCAR when she hadn't even started her chores.

Never make the mistake of determining wealth based solely on money.

So... you have to work longer or faster before you can hit the beer.

I sometimes get looks like "Oh, rich guy".

I do the internal giggle. I own 10% of the MH - The bank owns the rest.

The only thing I'm rich in is CREDIT RATING.
