I have a mach one in my 18DB and the settings do not include an auto setting unfortunately. Perhaps you have a different unit.

So I took a pic of my thermostat today. I guess they probably do have several styles, seems like even the simplest things have many options. I have seen other threads where people have added small fan switches to Nest thermostats. I think it is in the ORV mods thread.

ok yeah I have a mach 1 and my Air Conditioner is not controlled on the wall thermostat. All the controls are on the ac unit on the ceiling. So we were comparing apples to oranges. Thanks for the intel.
