First outing... 7 weeks in a new TT

I gotta say, I must have gotten a good one... everything worked flawlessly. I moved to Weatherford from Amarillo because my job changed. I had just sold my 18' Shadow Cruiser to my daughter and son-in-law, and bought a Surveyor SV-264. I packed my new trailer and headed out. I had done nothing in it but watch TV a few times and check out the air conditioner. When I got here, I found it to be super easy to set up... everything's electric... even the tongue jack... It towed very well.

Anyway, I found a cheaper, older RV park and found that most there were full-timers. Everyone was friendly and looked out for each other. My trailer was the talk of the park for a while, and I had to give several tours... but that was OK. All in all it worked out very well. I was here working and DW was keeping the house fresh for showings... and packing up what she could. The house sold quicker than we thought and we were together in the trailer for a week before we could move into the new one. It's more comfortable than I thought it would be, and the wife can't wait for vacations, now...
