First time trailer purchase

Our Daughter and Son-law are looking to buy their first travel trailer in the 25K to 35K price range. Can anyone share what % off of MSRP can be expected? They are young and are looking to be informed buyers before negotiating. Any help would be appreciated.

We saw 25% to 30% last March off of the MSRP. Good luck.

Welcome to iRV2. In this market and going into the winter season, I would start at 30% off sticker and shoot to get 25%.

We noticed when we were searching for our trailer that some dealers have a different list price for the same trailer. So it might look like you were getting a better deal from them. Also you must know what is included in the negotiated price. There can be a lot of add ons if you don't watch out.

I don't know about other manufacturers, but Jayco lets the prospective buyer build and price their RV. Armed with the manufacturer's actual MSRP, a lot of the shady dealer games with MSRP can be eliminated.

I don't think that 25% to 30% off MSRP in today's market is out of range.
