So I'm packing up to leave tonight on the maiden voyage of my new TT. After filling the water it seemed not to take a whole lot(only a 45 gallon tank). When I pulled out the hose a bunch of tacky silicone looking white stuff came out with the excess water. I went in and checked the meter inside(you know the one, battery, fresh, grey, black). It showed bone empty. I drained the tank and found none of that silicone stuff and it drained for a long time, so I assume it was full and the gauge isn't working. Does that sound about right?
Is the gauge something that might be stuck from sitting empty on the dealer's lot and after I drive a bit it will free up? What could the white stuff be? If the sensor is bad how big of a job is it to be repaired? It looks rough since this is an insulated belly trailer. I guess that's where warranty comes in.
Also the converter for battery charging seems intermittent. Last night I could run a/c, microwave, fridge, but the converter wouldn't charge the battery(only showed 12.8 volts on voltmeter and 2/3 on trailer meter). After I unplugged from the house and plugged in again (dedicated 30A non-GFI RV line) It immediately began charging(fan running on coverter, meter showing full and 14.3 volts at battery). Is this normal? Or is converter on the blink?
Finally, kitchen faucet at wide open causes the pump to pulsate. In my past RV's they alway ran constant while the sinks were open all the way. Is this a higher capacity pump possibly, or could the pump maybe be plugged, maybe with some of that white crap from the tank?
All this and I haven't left the driveway yet!
Thanks in advance

i would re-check all the grounds, the battery negative and the grounds on the chassis and converter (please pull all power first)
i would check your faucet for a restrictor all my water valves had em and we got very low flow, until i removed them all
as for the silicone stuff, it shouldnt be in the fresh water tank,
it wil clogg YOU and your faucets and possbily the pump, I would show it to the dealer and have em clean out all the lines.
getting it al lout of the fresh tank might be a challange, was it dried bits or still tacky feeling.
you could fill the tank and leave the drain open to try to flush some of it out.
but being its brand new i would insist the dealer fix it NOW,
if that stuff is floting around, it will get in the water heater and there is a small orifice check valve there to to get clogged etc.

Definetly will. I'll avoid the water tank this weekend. I plan on setting an appointment next week.
